The moment I read these words on the back of the "Elves of Athas" Dark Sun accessory, by Bill Slavicsek, I understood I had a new favorite race. The Athasian Elf is a splendid adaptation of that classic Dungeons & Dragons race, and to me it is truly the best role-playing race of the Dark Sun setting.

The most famous NPC of my Athasian campaigns was a male elf sun cleric called Zaakmuta Sunsinger, or just "The Sun Singer". I will soon put up a 3rd edition conversion for this great NPC as well as a prestige class for elf clerics, the Element Singer. I also did a lot of work to make the pterran race an interesting one. I made an unofficial 2nd edition accessory called Pterrans of the Hinterlands in 1996 that got some recognition from the Dark Sun Internet community back then. I will soon put up a revised 3rd edition "Pterrans of the Hinterlands" on this website with new prestige classes, feats, NPCs and adventure hooks.

Finally, I'm actually working with my old Dark Sun pal Grummore (host of The Silt Skimmer Page) about a proposition for an official Trader prestige class.
